One day in the corner of the country Indonesia, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, lived a little girl named Delisa with her mother and three sisters; thei name Fatimah, Aisha, and Zahra. His father had been long time gone to work in overseas because of demands of his work.
An exact time on 24 December 2006 Delisa is learning to memorize rote prayer, and in two days there are will be a test of rote prayers with Ustad Rahman.
Intended for the day Delisa and mother went to the store of Koh Achan gold necklace as a gift for Delisa when memorizing prayers pass reading tests later. Delisa choose their own necklace with the letter D symbol on the necklace; who interpreted the "D" for "Delisa". They landed a half-price discount by Koh Achan.
Time gone, in the two days Delisa got a lesson from her mother, she had been wrong if she memorize prayer memorizing cause the gift. She conscious if only the gold necklace it’s a small gift. So Delisa decide to will memorize praye memorizing only cause Allah, ger God. In that way she can ask everything to Allah every prayers done.
Desember, 26th, 2006 came, So Delisa has an exam to test her prayer memorizing. Whe the time test of Delisa came, Delisa road her prayer memorizing---as suggerst Ustad Rahman---that when do prayer Delisa should be khusyuk and do not care to people around, what matter happen.
When Delisa till in the middle of prayer memorizing of the test, suddenly earthquake happened. Shacky strongly, and hard. All people panic exept Delisa---still khusyuk with her prayer memorizing. Delisa mother scream to call her from outside but she keep khusyuk. Reach on of the top the earthquake, the room full with people who wants run to safe their self. Exactly, the earthquake bring a big water wave that ready to make a disaster.
Unsciously, Delisa gone aground in coral stone and struggle for some days until Mr. Smith---America army--came to help her. Delisa was brought and cared with right leg who was amputed (read: amputation).
The earthquake lived sorrows. All people there have gone forever exept Delisa and some residence who safe from the disaster. In list of the people safe, there include Koh Achan, Ustad Rahman, Umam ( Delisa friend who naughty), and some residences other. I her small family the earthquake only lived Delisa. After the disaster gone, her father comes to safe Delisa after he knew that disaster by her work friend in the overseas, in his work place.
Delisa and her father struggle to continue their life; they spend the day with spirit and hope, and keep to strong each other---try walk on the life as usual. The disaster clarify that Delisa is a daughter strong, stiff and patient.
